1. A successful relationship with the landowner will in some cases lead to access to other suitable sites.

2. Expansion capacity, in some cases of up to 7 turbines per site.

3. Extensive nearby heavy industry, power cables and unsightly existing development.

4. Low value agricultural or brownfield land with few other development options EEL has completed preliminary assessments of the sites using a leading UK based independent consultancy. It considered both environmental aspects and wind analysis and concluded that all offered a strong chance of both approval and economic operation. EEL has a pipeline of an additional 20 MW of Phase Two sites in an earlier development stage, plus the expansion capacity of Phase One sites.
